How do you say thank you in Greek?

Monday 24 April 2006
It is strange to go from writing about the day to day life in London to writing about the fact that I am in Venice, Italy. Yes, I know, life is strange like that. We find ourselves in places we never thought we would be able to go. Life really can be this exciting adventure. Venice is beautiful though i must be honest in saying that it reminds me a bit of a theme park because there are so many tourists. It is absolutely stunning though. I only wish that i could erase all the build up and the tourists and experience it in quiet and silence.

Today we spent wandering around Venice. It really is a beautiful city. The archetecture is amazing. I feel that building buildings are one of the highest forms of art. To take an idea that must first be shown in minature and to create it into something life size.

Florence
I love this city so much. while you can see the whole city in a day i think i could spend a year here to take it all in. It really is a city devoted to art. I think i like this city even more than Venice, of course Venice had it's own charms. I just think there aren't as many tourists here clogging everythingup. this city has so many artists selling their artwork and markets filled with leather goods and pretty clothing and jewlrey.

More later...
I'm tired.
